Born in Jacksonville, NC in 1979 and moved between there and Florida and back again since my father was a Marine then he got stationed in Scotland for 3 years. Those were some of the best years of my childhood. Then back to Jacksonville, NC for middle school and high school which is when my father retired and my parents got divorced. I finished High School a semester early and joined the Navy in March of 1998 and missed my prom and graduation while in basic training. Then I went on to Orlando, FL to start training as a nuclear mechanic where while walking on the sidewalk near the Fashion Square Mall I was struck by a speeding motorist which shattered my left leg. After six months of no walking I passed "A" school and started walking just before the start of Nuclear Power School in Charleston, SC which I finished my training and was sent out to the fleet after finishing Prototype also in Charleston. My first sea posting began in January 2000 in Groton, CT aboard the USS Toledo which would be my home for the next four years. During this time I would see the tragedy of 9/11 unfold and help take the fight to the enemy both during Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom supporting the invasion of Baghdad which my brother (Zeus) was fighting from is M1 tank. In 2004 my enlistment was up and due to the injuries sustained during my time in Orlando I could not reenlist and had to leave the service. Now I live in Weaverville, NC and work at Sonopress's CD and DVD replication plant (and hoping to move on to something else soon). In 2006 I met my girlfriend Elibeth who is currently serving a mission for our church in the Philippines and am looking forward to being reunited with her in March 2008 in Manila (yay VACATION!)
